Meatless Monday: Oats w/ Flax Seed Milk, Raisins, Chia Seeds & Blueberries

Eating eggs every day for breakfast can get boring quickly. So, I'm trying new oats recipes and this one was pretty darn good!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 cup of Flax Seed Milk

  • 1/2 cup of Organic Rolled Oats

  • 1/4 cup of Raisins

  • 1/8 cup of Chia Seeds

  • 1/4 cup of Organic Blueberries

Directions

1. Bring 1 cup of water & 1 cup of Flax Seed Milk to boil with a little salt.

2. Add 1/2 cup of oats to the boiling water.

3. Add 1/4 cup of Raisins (if you like your raisins to be a little less hard like me. If you like your raisins hard you can add them at the end instead) [ps. these measuring spoons are awesome (the nook lets you hang them off the bowl while you're cooking...I know!]

4. Add 1/8 cup of Chia Seeds and cook until oats aren't soupy anymore.

5. Put in a bowl, add some blueberries (and even some honey if you want to sweeten it up a bit).

6. Take photos and post them to IG tag me and make your friends jealous!
