Earth Day

Since today is earth day, I wanted to take the time to talk this issue that is close to my heart- taking care of our planet. I have always been drawn to nature, probably because I feel most at peace when I am immersed in it. My toes dug into the earth, the sun on my face, the wind dancing on my skin - this is when I feel the most me. Because of this, I feel very strongly about taking care of this beautiful planet we have the privilege of being a part of.

It has become even more important, now that our current administration seems content to treat our planet like we have another one lined up waiting for us. So, I am taking the opportunity to share some easy ways to make eco-friendly updates to your life.  I find the principle of ahimsa (non-harming) to be the simplest way to help guide your choices. Are you causing harm by what you’re doing? Is there an easy way to lessen the harm you’re causing?
